Jaipur also known as the historic city founded in the 1727 AD by the great Kacchawah ruler Sawai Jai Singh II( a great builder, poet and astronomer). The city which is rectangular in shape and divided into nine blocks laid down on the principles of “Shilpa Shastra”. The rectangular blocks also called the “chokris” . All the monuments of Jaipur are centrally located in and around the city. The city is also called the “Pink City”.

 Jaipur is a royal city and one gets to see palaces, temples and other interesting places some of the have to visit places in Jaipur are Hawa Mahal also known as the palace of winds as the name suggests which was designed for the ladies of the royal household by Sawai Pratap Singh which kept them updated about the on goings in the public as well as helped them stay away from the public eye.

The city of Agra is situated at the river banks of the river Yamuna, is said to be the 19th most populous city of India. The city was even mentioned in the Epic Mahabharata as Agrevana which means 'the border of the forest'. It is said in stories that the city was found by Raja Badal Singh. Apart from that, Agra was a very important part of the Mughal Empire and it was named Akbarabad. The city was the capital under kings like Akbar, Jahangir and even Shah Jahan. Not just that, the city of Agra is even known as the birthplace of the religion Din-i llahi which is still followed by many. In 1935, the city witnessed a number of government activities as it was made a princely state of the British India.

Jaigard Fort built by Sawai Jai Singh which is till date in a very good shape which has a giant mounted cannon the Jai Ban which is supposed to be the largest in the country. The considerably huge walls also known as the parkotas, watch towers of Jaigarh are the ones to watch out for.

Jal Mahal situated in the middle of a small lake and this was supposed to be the hunting lodge for the Rajputs and this can be viewed only from the banks of this lake which is a man made . Laxmi Narayan Temple situated in the southern horizon is a privately owned hilltop fort of Moti Doongari shaped like a scottish castle built in sparkling white marble , and other place like Govind Devji Temple, Albert Hall, B M Birla Planetarium are also worth visiting. The best and the most convenient way to get to these places is to hire a cab which would make it much more easier and will help one save time.

 Another place in Agra that is a must visited destination is Agra Fort. The Agra fort was build by the most renowned king of the Mughal dynasty, King Akbar. He was the greatest king of all the rulers of this empire. The Agra fort is a marvelous piece of work with excellent carvings and architecture.
